Breaking The Bully at Las Vegas Krav Maga

Bullying is one of the hot-button topics for every parent and student and with good reason. According to www.stopbullying.gov, there are several different types of bullying including:

* Verbal bullying is saying or writing mean things. Verbal bullying includes:
* Teasing
* Name-calling
* Inappropriate sexual comments
* Taunting
* Threatening to cause harm
* Social bullying, sometimes referred to as relational bullying, involves hurting someone’s reputation or relationships. Social bullying includes:
* Leaving someone out on purpose
* Telling other children not to be friends with someone
* Spreading rumors about someone
* Embarrassing someone in public
* Physical bullying involves hurting a person’s body or possessions. Physical bullying includes:
* Hitting/kicking/pinching
* Spitting
* Tripping/pushing
* Taking or breaking someone’s things

Many victims of bullying feel helpless because they are essentially forced to go to school and "deal with it". This is why Breaking The Bully was created.

Breaking The Bully is the world's most effective anti-bullying program ever created. World-renowned Self Defense expert Donavin Britt created Breaking the Bully as a no-nonsense remedy to the growing problem of bullying!

The three pillars of this program are Fitness, Self Esteem, and Self Defense.

Fitness - Through exercise, conditioning, coordination drills, and strength training (body weight and resistance bands) each participant will improve weekly. With strength comes confidence and with confidence comes to power! "There is a warrior inside of everyone, it is my job to find that warrior and train them".- Coach Britt

Self-Esteem - Kids that have high self-esteem are less likely to be impacted by bullying, bottom line. So where does self-esteem come from and how do we cultivate it so that our children can have it as a source of personal power? This is the uniqueness of Breaking The Bully. Coach Britt is direct and unrelenting. Accountability is a key component. "The minimum requirement is that you give maximum effort" - Coach Britt
Coach Britt is an excellent life coach. He has worked with hundreds of students, children, and adults alike. He personally challenges students to improve their decision-making by demanding that they think better and value themselves enough to know that they are worth the effort.

Self-Defense - This is the heart of the program. Breaking the Bully is not about phony "martial arts". No, this program is warrior based and each student that participates will be taught how to fight like a warrior. This self-defense system is a mixture of Krav Maga, MMA, Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai, and Judo. We don't do forms or katas. We don't break boards. We don't collect trophies and ribbons. We empower each child by teaching them the proper way to defend themselves. They are taught pre-incident, incident, and post-incident strategies and tactics that minimize their chances of being injured or impacted negatively by defending themselves.
