Class Descriptions
Ground Fighting
In krav maga our preference is to defend ourselves from a standing position, however there may be times whether at our choosing or not that the fight will be taken down to the ground and therefore we will be forced to defend ourselves from a disadvantageous position. Our ground fighting class is designed to teach students how to street fight effectively from the ground while focusing on getting the fight back to a standing position as soon as possible. This class uses techniques from greco-roman wrestling, brazilian jiu- jitsu , judo and kino-mutai a filipino self defense system specializing in biting and eye gouging to create a highly effective street fighting ground system.
We recommend training in gi pants and a rash guard for this class. Wrestling shoes, five finger shoes or barefoot only.
