I joined Las Vegas Combat Academy two years ago and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. All the instructors are professional, friendly and more than willingly to help you learn the techniques. The atmosphere of the school is friendly as well. There are no big egos here. Everyone that joins is here to train and help one another get better. If you are looking for an alternative or supplement for your exercise routine, this is a great option. You become fit while learning how to defend yourself. The school no only has Krav Maga but BJJ, Muay Thai, Judo, MMA and kickboxing as well. Oh and ladies, the females are a tight and welcoming group that really come together and support one another.
I can truly say this will be a life changing event for you. If your looking to develop yourself as a person, get outside your comfort zone, or become the best version of your self. This school will definitely help you pursue your goals. The instructors are very passionate about their job. Their main priority is your safety, and will make sure you understand the techniques. So if you're ever placed in a situation. You can counter any threat if your ever put in that situation. Overall, it's a welcoming and fun atmosphere. This is a place you can walk into and feel welcomed. Great instructors, great people, and a place full of good vibes. Rarely seen in martial art schools out here. Also, a great self-defense system that prepares you for REAL LIFE situations (chokes, knives, guns, multiple attackers, etc.), especially for women. If you are ever in Vegas or live there, I highly recommend you stop by this place and check it out. I believe you won't be disappointed.
This is a great school. I started a few months ago and ever since I can stop. Everyone is super friendly and all the instructors are top notch. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who want to learn self defense and also keep getting in great shape.
I was in town for business and was able to drop in for a class. These guys are legit. Their staff are accommodating, the training partners were welcoming and the instructors were top notch. I've trained across the US and this is one of the best facilities I've been to. If you're in Vegas for business, pleasure or live there, do yourself a favor and go train there. You won't regret it.
Donavin Britt is very knowledgeable about Krav Maga, martial arts and self defense. I found it more impressive how much he understood about women and how to get is to press through our innate desire to do no harm to anyone. Throughout the entire class he provided feedback on our technique and encouraged us to find that inner fight to survive. The Women's Assault Prevention course really made me wake up and realize that I normally walk through my day completely unaware of my surroundings and that I need to be more alert. I didn't leave the class a 2nd degree black belt, but I know that inner beast is in there and I've found out that if necessary she will FIGHT! More importantly I found out HOW to fight, and proper form to use. Ladies if you want to feel better able to save your life in case of an emergency PLEASE check out Las Vegas Combat Academy. LVKM is far superior then all the rest. The instruction is world class and the instructors approach self defense in a realistic, no nonsense way. Every time I've gotten the pleasure to train with Donavin I have learned invaluable information and something new from a different perspective. I can't tell you guys how lucky you are to have LVKM in your backyard. Now get in and train!
